Anker Studentbolig has a cooperation agreement with Anticimex for treatment of pests, and are covering the cost of treatment.

Bed bugs are beetle-like, blood-sucking ticks that neither destroy buildings, clothes or furniture, but feed on sucking blood from people, much like a mosquito.

Bed bugs are spread using luggage, used furniture and other household items. The animals are often found by beds or other places where people keep calm, e.g. by the sofa. Bed bugs suck blood at night, and many will experience annoying bites/stings, while some will have almost no reaction. It may therefore take time before the bed bugs are detected.

Until your home has been completed treated and controlled after (1-2 months), we ask you to not have visitors, and you should also be careful about visiting others. Bed bugs are not dangerous, but they can be unpleasant and spread easily, and getting rid of them requires careful treatment.
