Stove Guard

The stove guard and timer's purpose is to cut out electricity in case the stove overheats or if you f. ex forget about the boiling water cooking on the stove top. Please watch the video with instructions on how to operate the guard and how to turn off the alarm should it go off.

By pressing the button on the guard when it begins to beep (pre-warning), you reset the guard and have 10 “new” minutes to use the stove.

The stove guard is placed on the wall above your stove and can look like the pictures underneath. The timer is a feature on the stove top in a few apartments and is pictured underneath.

How to reset the stove guard/timer:
If you don’t reset your stove guard when it begins to warn you and the power cuts off, here's what you do:

  1. Turn off the appliance (all switches to 0)
  2. Press the button on the guard (this will reset the power supply)
  3. Turn the appliance back on, it’s ready to be used again.
