Work in progess at Anker Apartment 2nd floor until June 1st

You'll find enclosed notices in the elevators and on our floors to warn of construction noise in connection with the renovation of the dormitories in 2nd floor. The work is ongoing from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., but they will limit noisy work to 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. 
 
Work on the dorms will continue until opening on June 1, while work on rooms on the 3rd floor is set to be completed on Feb. 26.

20.09.23 - Shutdown of hot water tonight!

• During this night, Thursday 21.09.23, between 01:00-03:00 we must shut off access to hot water in the building. NOTE! We ask you to be very careful that no taps are left open during this time period as this can cause problems (flooding) when the water is switched on again.

03.01.2024 - PLANNED POWERCUT JANUARY 3rd (Please see e-mail with further information)

Københavngata 10 will be without power between 08.00am-11.59pm on January 3rd.

(We are warning for a long outage, but we belive the work goes faster. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee this)

We therefore hope as many people as possible have the opportunity to extend their Christmas holiday and return after January3rd.

Those who are home on January 3 must prepare for these points:

• It will be completely dark/without power in the building/student housing and the elevator will not work
• Make sure your mobile is fully charged and/or use a charged power bank
• Use flashlight or other battery operated for light
• The Internet will not work.
• Make sure stove tops aren't covered with stuff.
• Be careful when using candlelight, do not leave the home without extinguishing.

All residents should prepare for the fridge/freezer to get hot! Empty the fridge/freezer of food items by January 3rd. If there is ice in the freezer, water may appear on the floor, so please do the following:

• Fold a towel double
• Place it in front of the refrigerator with the doors open
• Push the towel in under approx. 5 cm. Close the doors
• Frozen goods or refrigerated goods can be placed on the roof terrace or in bags out the window if needed.

31.08.23 - Moving of the post room 01.09.23

• The post room will have a new location from evening of 1st of September. See e-mail sent out today. 

11.08.23 - Construction work 14.08-31.12.23:

• From the 14th of August, construction work will be carried out on the 1st floor of Københavngata 10. Normal working hours are 7-17. There could be some persived noise from the work, but not too much. Updates will be sent out continously. 

06.03.2023 - Geothermal energy well project in Københavngata 10

• The construction project will last from March to July and will be completed in August 2023. Working hours 07.00-19.00 Monday-Friday.
